This game originated in 2002 with a handful of drag racing fans picking who they thought would win the various races throughout the NHRA season. We began as posters on a Usenet Newsgroup (alt.autos.sport.nhra). Eventually many of the picks and correspondence was done through email and the website. Today we have dozens of players enjoying the game. Most have become "Facebook Friends" and many have become great friends in "real life". Join in the fun why don't you...
Here are the rules:
Email your picks to me by the deadline (Rollout96@aol.com) and/or post them on the Facebook Group page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/329783910460281/). I will confirm the email receipt or “LIKE” the post on Facebook. Please make sure your picks have been confirmed.
Classes: T/F, F/C, P/S Car (where they run) & P/S Bike (where they run).
Events: The 21 NHRA National Events.
Deadline for picks: Friday at Noon (Pacific) the week of the event.
Pick one driver for each of the classes.
***NOTE***
There is no limit to how many times a driver can be picked during the NHRA “Regular Season” which runs through the Indy race. Once the “Countdown” begins each driver can only be picked ONE time for the remainder of the season.

Points awarded by NHRA to each driver will be awarded to each player picking that driver.
Players (who play regularly) can earn 150 points for a missed event (or 100 points if the event only hosted TWO pro classes). That "saving bonus" will be limited to 2 events per season.
Players may also submit a “championship BONUS pick” for each class (T/F, F/C, P/S, P/S Bike) PRIOR to the season beginning Gatornationals. A player will earn 100 points for each driver that wins the NHRA Championship and was selected prior to the start of the season. These points will be awarded at the conclusion of the 2024 season and be included in determining the Overall Champion of the game. The deadline for these bonus picks is March 8, 2024.
OPTIONAL CASH WAGER
For those that would like to wager and possibly get a payout at the end of the season we have an optional “cash game” feature. The cash entry fee is $10.00 for the season. The deadline for entering the cash game is April 1, 2024. The payout for the cash game is as follows:
1st Place = 35%, 2nd Place = 20%, 3rd Place = 15%, 4th and 5th Place = 10% each, Administration = 10%
At the end of the season the players who entered the cash game will be seeded onto their own leader board and paid accordingly. The $10.00 entry fee can be sent via PayPal (rollout96@aol.com), Venmo (Jay-Smith-06859) or Zelle (925/216-6923). Cash and/or check can also be mailed to me (inquire for address).
